Who can apply

2027 graduates: domestic university graduation dates from 1 August 2026 to 31 July 2027; overseas university graduation dates from 1 January 2026 to 31 July 2027. Bachelor’s degree or above; any major.

Age and residency

Bachelor’s applicants must be born on or after 1 January 2003; postgraduate applicants on or after 1 January 2000. The notice places no restriction on gender or household-registration location. It does not explicitly define nationality eligibility; this must not be interpreted as an unrestricted international hiring programme.

English route

Meet at least one: CET-6 425+, TEM-4 pass or higher, TOEIC 650+, TOEFL iBT 70+, or IELTS 5.5+.

Additional-language route

CET-4 425+ is required, plus one of: Spanish, French, Russian or German major level 4 or B2+; Italian or Dutch B2+; Arabic major level 4+; Korean level 5+; or Japanese JLPT N2+.

Other requirements

Height: women 163–175 cm, men 173–185 cm. The official notice requires no visible scars or tattoos and no colour blindness or colour-vision deficiency. Medical screening, background checks, training and supervised-flight assessments apply.

Costs and employment

Applicants pay their medical examination and cabin crew qualification training costs; amounts are not stated. Direct employment with China Eastern follows successful qualifications, checks and company approval. The notice says no referral, agency, introduction or deposit fees are required.
